12/18/25 - i've losted like a hundred and fifty dollars on sports betting now that i'm back for break. none of my parlays have been hitting. whatever. i've been really into mr. bungle, here's an unreleased gem. I read that mike patton is embarressed by a lot of early bungle, which is dumb because it all rules and is silly which makes it rule more. - henry

1/6/26 - just realized i've been using the month/day/year even though it's logically the worst. but it makes the most sense to me. whatevs. been really into ben folds five recently. ben folds reminds me a lot of my government teacher. he's nerdy and collectives funko pops and action figures but he's mostly just a dude. wish i could play piano like ben folds. i know my faults and i know whats wrong but i dont feel the need for resolve. check out the bass in this. - henry

2/16/26 - i'm sitting here with my girlfriend that i hate writing a neo cities blog post. she just laughed at that sentence that i wrote. she only breathed out her nose for that one. "are you just going to narrate what i do," she says, as i type that. the answer is no. wouldn't it be awesome if you could buy and redeem lottery tickets on whatsapp so you never have to leave the house to buy lottery tickets? i think it would. here's one of my favorite weezer discoveries as of late. hope everyone is having a good feburary, i'm excited for next feburary. - henry

2/23/26 - watched nirvanna the band the show the movie this weekend. friggin genius! matt johnson is so charismatic in interviews. he also has huge biceps. or maybe he just wears small shirts. thats besides the point. funny movie, that hangover gag was genius. here's this blog posts song. it's chumbawamba's version of her majesty, what a great idea, kudos chumbawumba! whenever i'm around drunk people, i tell them to do the Macarena and then i tell them they're doing it wrong. they never like it. - henry

3/2/26 - theres nothing as a soul crushing as creating instagram reels for your band/upcoming single. saw someone who had 300 thousand... 300 hundred thousand! 300 times 1000! followers on instagram. but they only had 200 monthly listeners on spotify. its super disheartening to hear. but do you want to know the secret? they're music sucked! so boring! so middle of the road! its like that trend where it's like "i'm busting my ass mixing and mastering and this shit goes viral?" and it's the "i took the wooookkkk to poollannnnd" song. do you want to know why? because that song rules and your song probably doesn't! its hard making good music! its grueling and it takes so fucking long to get into a rythmn where you can write stuff that is good. but you are not entitled to engagement because something you deem unworthy is eclisping you. also i have never understood spray tan. I've lived in gloomy ohio my entire life and people here get fake tans? that doesn't make any sense? i know it's fake! the appeal of a real tan is that they're somebody thats outdoorsy, fit and fun loving. a fake tan just shows that you can't stand your skin. but if you find that a fake tan makes you happy, then do it! but i have a inkling that people don't do it for the soul. this is the Good. - henry
